Here is how to unlock the BlackBerry, whether it is for Blackberry Curver like Blackberry 83xx, 88xx, 8900, such as the Blackberry Bold or Blackberry 9000, 96xx and Blackberry Bold 9700:

  • Make sure the sim card has been installed on the Blackberry and you have turned off all connections (turn off all network connections)
  • On the homescreen menu go to Options> Advanced Options> SIM Card

  • After that type “mepd” without the quotes and keep in mind you will not see the letters that you type in these
  • After that type also “mep2″ also without quotes
  • On “Enter Network MEP Code” input the appropriate code to unlock the process and press the trackball / trackpad
  • If the code is entered correctly, then you will see “Code Accepted” and it means you have the Blackberry really unlocked
